A waffle with a side of fried mushrooms, bacon, and cheese. It’s so damn good you can barely eat it.
All waffle recipes use a similar waffle pan, but there are a few different styles. This one uses a round waffle pan that you can screw a hole in the side of. The waffle is then fried until golden brown. Once the waffle is done, you can add your toppings, such as cheese and bacon, and the whole thing is ready to eat.
This waffle recipe is also available for the standard waffle pan.
The waffle recipe is a little different from what we’ve discussed so far. First, you cook the waffle over a slow flame, making sure to get the edges crispy and browned. Then you add the bacon and cheese, and you flip the waffle over. Done. (The waffle is cooked this way because it is easier to flip the waffle with the lid on, but you can also flip it over with a skillet on the stovetop).
This recipe, and the waffle recipe we just mentioned, are both easy to make and great for parties. The waffles are also easy to peel. You can make a waffle pan out of a single sheet of foil or you can make one out of heavy-duty foil and cook it over a lower flame. That makes it easy to peel the waffled side of the waffle.
So far we’ve only seen these recipes for waffles (which are actually more like cookies, but we digress) but when you think about the number of waffle recipes out there, there are a lot of recipes that call for butter or oil for frying the waffle. The waffle recipes are pretty simple and can be made with just about any kind of oil or butter. Here’s our recommendation: butter or oil for frying.
The secret here is that you want to fry it with a lower flame and watch it cook as fast as possible. The waffle recipes we’ve seen are way too buttery and the waffle is getting undercooked.
I think the solution would be to use something like Crisco or cornstarch. The idea is to create a little oil bath inside of a waffle pan and then put your waffle in there and let it cook on high. The idea is that you end up with a crispy waffle and you can then dip it in the oil and fry it. The only problem with this method is that the oil needs to be very hot and you end up with very sticky waffles.
