For my dad, he was a smoker and it took a long time to realize that it was “no big deal” and it wasn’t an alarm. He was a perfectionist, and the first thing he did when he got home from work was go into the cupboard where his cigarettes would be and count the number of cigarettes on top of the count on the bottom of the cigarette. He counted them from the top, down, and then he counted them from the bottom.
I would never have made it through my first week as my dad’s new manager without his habit. He smoked so much that he couldnt even remember the day he quit, and he couldnt remember the last time he smoked. This is why I am very glad he is our new manager. He is so very dedicated to smoking that he is able to quit multiple times each day.

As you can see, the video is about smoking in general but it’s also about how to turn off the automatic high. The automatic high is a high-pitched sound that occurs when you put tobacco products (like cigarettes and snuff) in your mouth. This automatic high happens to everyone regardless of age, whether they smoke or not. It is a side-effect of the nicotine addiction and is similar to the buzz that occurs after drinking coffee.
In order to turn off the automatic high, you need to get rid of the nicotine in your mouth. You can do this by chewing and swallowing the tobacco, or by chewing and swallowing the nicotine. If you swallow the nicotine, you’re basically removing it from your bloodstream and replacing it with your own saliva. The nicotine then returns your brain’s receptors to normal and you’re back where you were before you started smoking.
Now, if youre still on the hook for nicotine, you can still turn the alarm off by swallowing the tobacco. It’s called a “wet” method, but it doesnt last forever. In fact, once you swallow the tobacco, it’s not possible to get rid of it. All these years youve been chewing and swallowing it, which is basically what the nicotine does to your body’s natural nicotine receptors.
Now, if youve got a home where it is possible for water to get into your smoke alarm, it is likely the water is what has fried the alarm, which can be a death sentence. In some cases, it can take as little as a few hours to kill the alarm. In other cases, the alarm can go off within a few hours, and in some cases it can take as few as a month to kill the alarm.
I like to think about how the alarm works. For starters, there is a switch that turns on the alarm when the smoke/gas smell is high enough, and a switch that turns off the alarm when the smoke/gas smell is low enough. The switch for the water alarm is a simple lever with a toggle switch. When the switch is in the “off” position, the water alarm can’t be triggered.
The switch for the fire alarm is an electric switch with a toggle switch. A high level of smoke gas can cause the alarm to go off, and in the case of the fire alarm, the smoke gas is so high that it can kill the alarm.
