This makes for a very fast laptop, especially on the desktop. I guess that, considering the size of the Inspiron 3880, it’s a bit small for everyday use, but if you’re serious about gaming, you might want to grab a gaming mouse, keyboard, and a big monitor.
There is always that tiny bit of inconvenience when you have to buy your own external graphics card, but if youre using two monitors, it is very worth it. And if you have a second monitor, you can use that to play games with your laptop. I have the Dell inspiron 3880 with an Nvidia GeForce 9400GT card and a second Dell screen hooked up to the Inspiron. I use the second monitor for playing games and the first for browsing the web.
