We know that the 2014 Nissan Maxima has had some issues with its four-cylinder engine over the course of the past year. In fact, it’s now being recalled due to one of the largest recalls in automotive history: a 5.0-liter V8 engine that could have potentially suffered a catastrophic failure.
Nissan says the recall was caused by a fuel cell problem. The company is currently investigating to ascertain the origin of the problem. The recall affects the 2014 Nissan Maxima, the 2015 Nissan Maxima, and the 2015 Nissan Frontier.
The recall affects the 2014 Nissan Maxima, the 2015 Nissan Maxima, and the 2015 Nissan Frontier. This is the first time Nissan has recalled a 2014 Nismo to fix a fuel cell problem. Since the recall was announced, Nissan has recalled an additional 599 vehicles.
The recall was announced on March 18th. Nissan only knew about the problem on February 16th. At that point, Nissan was still investigating to determine the cause. Now that Nissan has recalled an additional 599 vehicles, we can safely assume they know what caused the fuel cell problem and it has not been resolved. Nissan has said it will investigate the issue. Also, the recall is not expected to cause any major problems for Nissan.
It’s quite possible Nissan is just as clueless as we are, or that Nissan has already revealed the cause of the problem, but we’ll have to wait and see what happens with the new Maxima to know for sure.

Nissan’s official statement does not mention the problem specifically, but it does state that the cause is unknown. In fact, the problem is not a recalled vehicle problem but a “driver error,” and that’s why Nissan is offering a free service to all affected customers. They are also offering a $1000 discount to those affected customers.
Nissan made it clear that they have no idea what caused the problem, but they are offering a free service to all affected customers. They are also offering a 1000 discount to those affected customers.
The problem is a driver error. It appears this driver error was due to a “problem” in the nissan’s software. Nissan claims that as a precaution, they are going to send out a letter to the owners of the affected vehicles to see if they have a fix for the problem or not. Since they have now fixed the problem, Nissan is also offering a 1000 discount to those affected customers.
Nissan’s website says that the 1000 discount is available if you have one or more nissan vehicles manufactured after June 2012. Nissan says they will be contacting affected customers within three days and will offer a free service to all affected customers.
